General Information
GRM8 is a receptor for glutamate and is a member ofthe G protein coupled receptor family (sub family metabotropic glutamate). The activity of this receptor is mediated by a G-protein that inhibits adenylate cyclase activity. GRM8 has been reported primarily in the brain.
