Product Specific Information
PA5-18751 targets NCF4/P40PHOX in IHC and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The PA5-18751 immunogen is synthetic peptide sequence (KDFPEEDDPTN) corresponding to the internal amino acids of NCF4.
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytosolic regulatory component of the superoxide-producing phagocyte NADPH-oxidase, a multicomponent enzyme system important for host defense. This protein is preferentially expressed in cells of myeloid lineage. It interacts primarily with neutrophil cytosolic factor 2 to form a complex with neutrophil cytosolic factor 1 kinase, which suggests its role in PIkinase-mediated signaling events. The phosphorylation of this protein was found to negatively regulate the enzyme activity. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been observed.
NCF4/P40PHOX Antibody (PA5-18751) in WB
Western Blot with anti-NCF4/P40PHOX Polyclonal Antibody (PA5-18751)
Immunohistochemical staining of paraffin embedded of Human Tonsil using PA5-18751 at a concentration of 2.5 ug/ml. The tissue was processed by steamed antigen retrieval with citrate buffer pH 6 and stained with AP.
